The “Delights of the Amaltea Cheese” are a simple recipe to make and very tasty:
- goat caprino “AMALTEA”
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Chopped almonds
- Fresh chives (chopped)
- Crushed pistachios
- Poppy seeds
- Natural date
- Crusty bread crouton
Take the “AMALTEA” goat cheese and add a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
Mix the mixture well with a wooden spoon so as to obtain a smooth cream.
Let the cheese rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
Take a nut of the preparation and make a lot of balls.
Roll each ball into the above ingredients and place them on a serving dish.
- For the preparation of the “Natural Date”: open it slightly and place the mixture inside; decorate it with dried fruit as you like (we used the walnut kernel).
- Place the cheese on a crusty bread crouton and decorate it to your liking (we used small pieces of peanut).
Now let your delicacies rest in the fridge and remove them for about 10 minutes before serving them.
